Analyzing forensic biosample data is complex. Bioinformatic software programs provide crime labs with the tools to interpret this complexity. What is the Challenge?

Forensic samples often contain complex biological data, such as mixed DNA samples.

  • Crime scene evidence often includes DNA from multiple contributors.

  • Contributors to the evidence might include known DNA profiles of the victim and consensual partner; however, the “person of interest” is likely unknown.

  • Sentry’s deconvolution tools can provide probable DNA profiles of the unknown contributor(s) to these complex mixtures in a simple and intuitive workflow.

1. Upload DNA Profile

Click the “Upload Profile” button below or use the link found in our top website navigation.

2. Complete Form

Complete the case submission form. Use the “Please upload relevant documents and/​or genetic analyzer data files” section to attach and upload the DNA profile to be evaluated.

3. Select GaaS Service

In the “How Can We Help” section on the form, select “Reanalysis on Complex Mixture Data (previously reported as inconclusive)”.

4. DNA Results Delivery

After processing and analyzing your uploaded DNA profile, we will send you the updated results. Average cost per profile is less than $500.
